Babar Azam Becomes 2nd Fastest Player to Reach 3,000 ODI Runs

Pakistan’s top-order batsman Babar Azam has become the 2nd fastest player to reach the milestone of 3,000 runs against New Zealand on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old has remained a vital figure in Pakistan’s batting lineup and has surpassed likes of Sir Viv Richard, Joe Root and Shikar Dhawan to reach the milestone.
Babar Azam has reached 3,000 runs at an average of 51.82 with a strike-rate of 86.10. He has scored 14 half-centuries and 9 hundreds throughout his one-day international career, making him one of the most exciting prospects in modern cricket.
