The New Nokia X71 Comes With an Infinity-O Display, 48MP Camera

If you think Samsung’s Galaxy S10 looks good, we have some good news for you. Nokia has launched the X71 in Taiwan, which is going to be available internationally as the Nokia 8.1 Plus. It has an infinity-O display, just like the S10, with other cool features that make it stand out.

Featuring a Snapdragon 660 with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in memory, it comes in a dandy glass-sandwich design.
The design of this phone seems like it has evolved from the Nokia 8 Sirocco. It has a glass-sandwich design with an aluminum frame. At the top left the phone features a punch hole where the selfie camera resides.

On the back, we have a triple camera sensor in the center and right underneath it is the fingerprint sensor followed by the company’s logo. There is an LED notification light housed in the power button as well.

Nokia X71 features a 6.39 inches Full HD+ Infinity-O display with a claimed screen to body ratio of 93 percent.
Internals and Storage

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with an Adreno 512 GPU.

It comes in only one variant with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in memory. The memory is expandable using a memory card.

The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and is part of the Android One program, which means that the OS is exactly the same as the Google Pixel phones, no bloatware whatsoever and pure Android.
Cameras

The rear cameras of this phone are its main highlight. The main sensor is a 48 Megapixel camera backed by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degrees field of view and a 5 MP depth sensor. The camera is equipped with Dual Hi-Cri flash and Zeiss optics.

The selfie camera is a single sensor 16 MP pixel camera that sits in a small punch hole at the top left of the phone on the display.
Battery and Pricing

It comes with an average battery capacity of 3,500 mAh, with 18 W fast charging enabled. This battery will provide a reasonable usage time and you can get up to a day and a half at most on a single charge.

The sales will start on 30th April 2019 and the Nokia X71 will come with a price tag of $385 (Rs. 55,000).
